Is it me or is it very expensive to learn Karate these days. I am fully aware that there is no price when it comes to improving yourself in every way and equipping yourself with the knowledge of defending your life when ever confronted with someone who wants to hurt you.  Beside the fact that there are expenses that keep rising for martial art school owners I can sympathize with that and our not so strong economy. It’s just making it so hard to hand your belt anywhere these days. Just throwing it out there. No bad intensions.  

I think so much is very overly priced.  I run a school and charge $65.00 per month no test fees.  I understand the economy but even when it was well enough, it was still overly priced.

Agreed and understood. Wish New York City had maybe a few more affordable dojo's to hang your hat? Martial Art schools are making it harder to stay committed. But I guess we do what is needed for loyalty to the arts. Thank you and good wishes.
