Teeik Silva has been training in karate since the age of 4. He turned to martial arts as a way to heal health problems. Also, his parents wished for him to train in order to improve his confidence and personal development. He credits karate as being the guide he needed to become healthier, has the right mental strength, and skills he needed to succeed in life. He believes God gave him karate as a gift and he intends to use it.
