KARATE COMBAT WILL ATTEMPT TO RESCHEDULE CHELMIAH VS LOPEZ II PENDING MEDICAL FITNESS

The Karate Combat 38 Co-Main Event, which would have been a rematch for the Bantamweight Championship held by Eoghan Chelmiah, has been removed from the fight card as Jesus Lopez was today deemed medically unfit to fight. Lopez was taken to a local hospital for supervision and is now okay.

As Jesus Lopez has made weight in the Karate Combat bantamweight division multiple times in the recent past, the organization will attempt to reschedule the bout in the near future, pending medical fitness.

The KC38 fight card remains headlined by the Middleweight Championship between champion Ross Levine and challenger Igor de Castaneda. James Vick vs Gabriele Cera will move up from the prelims into the main card, joining Sasha Palatnikov vs Adrian Hadribeaj and Bruno Souza vs Bruno Assis in what promises to be an exceptional night of fighting.
