Andres Madera is one of Venezuela's greatest fighters of all time and among the world's top lightweights finishing last season with a number 1 world ranking. Andres has been on the podium at all levels, having won the Pan American Championships, placing 3rd at the World Championships, and having won countless Venezuelan national titles. He competed in karate at the Tokyo Olympics in 2021. Andres's techniques and strategy are at the highest level of the sport and he incorporates excellent misdirection, tempo changes, and takedowns. Andres trains both in the US and Venezuela where he enjoys teaching karate to the next generation of champions.
